A steel design coordinator troubleshoots the architectural and structural design drawings and creates a practical workflow for the manufacturing and installations of the steel trade. It’s similar to creating the instructions for a Lego set. We ensure that the design meets regulations, is practical for the fabricators in the shop and has a fluid sequence for the installation crews. Furthermore, as part of the construction team, the Design Coordinator’s responsibility is to also review and coordinate the requirements of the other trades within the project.
